Thursday Night Football
Green Bay Packers at Arizona Cardinals, 5:20 p.m., Fox, NFL Network, Amazon
Two of the best teams in the NFC kick off the week in a game that could have a big early impact in the postseason race. This one could be a thriller, but the Cardinals' defense will make a stop when it needs to to give Arizona the win.
Prediction: Cardinals 38, Packers 35

Sunday early games
Cincinnati Bengals at New York Jets, 10 a.m., CBS
If the NFL playoffs began today, the Bengals would be the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Who saw that coming at the beginning of the season?
Prediction: Bengals 27, Jets 13
Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts, 10 a.m., CBS
The Tennessee Titans are on a roll right now. The Colts are playing better, but we don't see them stopping Derrick Henry and company here.
Prediction: Titans 24, Colts 16
Los Angeles Rams at Houston Texans, 10 a.m., Fox
The Los Angeles Rams had to wake up to beat the Detroit Lions in Week 7. We don't see them having any issues at all against the struggling Texans.
Prediction: Rams 35, Texans 13
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns, 10 a.m., CBS
These two teams can't afford a loss if they want to stay in contention in the AFC North. We have to give the edge to the home team, no matter who plays quarterback in Cleveland in this game.
Prediction: Browns 24, Steelers 17
Philadelphia Eagles at Detroit Lions, 10 a.m., Fox
The Lions have to win a game at some point, right? They have a great shot to do it at home against Jalen Hurts and the Eagles.
Prediction: Lions 27, Eagles 23
San Francisco 49ers at Chicago Bears, 10 a.m., Fox
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers absolutely crushed the Bears in Week 7. We don't think this game will be that lopsided, but the 49ers should get the victory on the road.
Prediction: 49ers 24, Bears 14
Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons, 10 a.m., Fox
What happened to Sam Darnold and the Panthers? They were so hot to start the season. It will be very difficult to get back on track against a suddenly surging Falcons team.
Prediction: Falcons 28, Panthers 16
Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills, 10 a.m., CBS
The Bills have had a week to stew over their loss to the Titans. They should come out highly motivated at home.
Prediction: Bills 38, Dolphins 21
Sunday late games
New England Patriots at Los Angeles Chargers, 1:05 p.m., CBS
The Patriots rolled in Week 7. Week 8 will be a much different story. The Chargers will prove to be too tough for rookie quarterback Mac Jones.
Prediction: Chargers 33, Patriots 24
Jacksonville Jaguars at Seattle Seahawks, 1:05 p.m., CBS
The Seahawks are obviously not the same without Russell Wilson. The Jaguars can and will go into Seattle and get a victory in Week 8.
Prediction: Jaguars 24, Seahawks 21
Washington Football Team at Denver Broncos, 1:25 p.m., Fox
Both of these teams are really struggling. Something tells us the Broncos will have the advantage in this one to get a win at home.
Prediction: Broncos 21, Washington 17
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints, 1:25 p.m., Fox
The Saints can really make a statement with a win over the Buccaneers. Easier said than done against a Tampa Bay team firing on all cylinders.
Prediction: Buccaneers 31, Saints 24
Sunday Night Football
Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings, 5:20 p.m., NBC
This game is very intriguing. A big game from Dalvin Cook could make it very interesting, but we don't see the Vikings being able to slow down Dak Prescott and the Cowboys' passing game.
Prediction: Cowboys 35, Vikings 28
Monday Night Football
New York Giants at Kansas City Chiefs, 5:15 p.m., ESPN
The Chiefs are the disappointment of the season. They can still turn things around. The Giants provide a perfect opportunity to get back on track.
Prediction: Chiefs 27, Giants 17
The Baltimore Ravens and Las Vegas Raiders are on a bye in Week 8.
